Help with farming

To preface: I am still new and learning, so maybe I have this set up incorrectly.

I am level 20 with the Ooze and Shadowgrasp trinket on a rogue - - The ooze trinket works like normal, maybe procs less. The totem, however, seems to not function at all. Its not even displaying on my damage meter and it used to be a really good high damage "on use" trinket that worked like Ooze.

I am in the current timeline but have my hearthstone in BC zone to farm some socketed gear. My ooze is still working. Did this trinket get nerfed or am I doing something wrong? Both trinkets ilvl 84.

Yeah you're not doing anything wrong with the totem, it got hit with a nerf a good while back now. The ooze is the only easy big hitter we've got at the moment.

Things could always change in the future, so I'm still holding on to mine as you never know. But for now it's not a powerhouse.
