Help farming Helmet of the contructor

I am farming that halmet that seems to be the best in slot for twinkies, but saw in a video that if you enter with another person lv 80, you enter in legacy mode, which means double loot

so, i wanted to ask if someone here would be willing to help me to farm, all you have to do is enter with me to the dungeon and afk at the entrance until i kill the boss, then get out and enter back with me again until i get it

i am willing to help you to farm something else the same way after in return

also, for those who already got it, how many tries took you ? i tried like 30 but got the chest with the extra locket, but only 2 helmtes and like 6 chest

Sometimes it will take hundreds of kills.

Sometimes you get stupid lucky.

Yes, but if the high lvl alt is near the boss the loot will be shared. To avoid that I usually go in, trigger legacy loot (you see it in chat), and go out before clearing the dungeon with the twink. This way you get two items every boss, but with legacy it can be any armor/weapon type so you can get cloth on a leather for example.

edit: I’m new to wow and twinking and by reading some opinions I understood this is not intended by blizzard and may lead to potential ban. I will not do this anymore. I wanted to edit this to avoid spreading bad behavior, in case anyone finds this post in future.

The kiss/curse of running for gear on legacy mode is: you don't always get useable loot.
THis works for bosses with small loot tables, but as most of our gear comes from TBC; it can be utterly painful.

There are some advantages to this in so far as: getting loot not intended for your Class
( https://www.wowhead.com/item=28202/moonglade-robe for your Hunter, or the https://www.wowhead.com/item=178769/infinitely-divisible-ooze on a Plate wearer, for instance )
but largely, the disappointment is deflating to the point of discouragement.

So... be thou warned: Drops come when they come, & procs or full-procs are rarer still.
You can walk in & out with your desired loot after a few runs, or after a few months; & legacy mode can scatter your drops all over the loot chart.
