Healbot help

Hi guys.

When i'm healing in BG's I usually use no AddOn's, but lately I have tried Healbot out in Dungeons, and found it very usefull.

Then I tried it in BG, and it worked well, there is just one thing that I wan't to change.

Can I get Healbot, to show when people is out of range? Like the names of people out of range, is typed with grey or something?

hmm, I use the old target range addon and just pay attention. I don't know if there is an actual config to that though sorry.

I dont know that much about addons, but i just hide my party unitframes and have raid unitframes up with "show range in raid" ticked in interface options.

Don't really know about healbot, but Grid functions just as well far as I know, and can be set to fade out people out of range a bit (really easy to see). Also has a center icon, and corner icons and all =p

Healbot makes being a healer ez mode, don't do it.

GTFO, Healbot is great. If you heal fine and the raid survives, you did your job right?







Healbot does the same as Ryoushi said. You can configure Healbot to fade the bars of the character when they're past a certain distance. - If WoW was fricken up and running I'd give you the exact location and how to get to it, but it's not... It's somewhere under Skin > Bars, I think.

That links to a screenshot I took a few days ago. You can see the difference between normal and fade. It's a slightly different concept on the screenshot, but the fade is the same. - On the screenshot, the names are faded because they're close to 100% HP. I have my Healbot configured to notify me/stop fading the bars when they reach a certain percent of their HP(85% for example). - You can have it configured for out of range as well.
