What made you choose eyes of rage over Furious gaze?

He's a work in progress, but eventually I will have 2x eye of rage and the legendary helm. Furious gaze doesn't help me kill large packs as fast as eye of rage does. Of course this is counting the 2 piece from Antorus!
Since my goal is to keep using eye beam over and over, non stop, I want it to do as much damage as possible. Even as mediocre as his gear is now I can pull as much as I want and use eye beam to both keep me alive via leech and mow everything down. Some DHs go for the blade dance trait. I prefer instant eye beam cooldown, personally.

I would guess to further reduce the cooldown in sync with his legendary head piece. And more damage.
More uptime and more damage.
