Have the SL Trinkets finally been nerfed?

I just qued into an Outlands dungeon and returned to the current timeline as i have done a 1000 times, but today it wouldnt allow me to use the Shadowgrasp Totem whilst in the instance.

When i hover my mouse over the trinket, it sais "disabled while level is decreased" and has a locked symbol on the icon in my hotbar.

Further testing required I guess. I would not be surprised if it has been nerfed, lets be hinest, it has been incoming for a while.

Just tested it in outlands dungeon. works fine. both trinkets.

I did some further testing and it works for me also. I don’t know what happened in that one dungeon, maybe I didn’t actually set the timeline correctly. Do you guys think they will nerf them at some point?

yes. build as many toons as you can while we have it

If people stop queuing dungeons and using the trinkets publically to flex they should stay off the radar and low on the priority list


If boosters use it to sell power leveling it will get prioritized higher for blizz.

All people have to do is solo and be quiet about it.

I got kicked from a group on my Demon Hunter without using any of the trinkets because I pulled the first boss with all the trash on me and soloed it while they were yelling at me to slow down. We can’t win for losing.

I thought plate classes couldn’t loot the trinket no matter which spec they are.

wowhead is wrong, you can check the dungeon journal in game, i don't believe its available. would need to have a high level with legacy loot and another 20 that can receive the loot to trade

indeed you are correct. thanks for the fairly definitive answer. i'll have to make better use of the dungeon journal.
i guess that makes sense as an int dps trink and not heals.
for thoroughness sake, i'd imagine one wouldn't need a 20 to trade if one can solo it once it's in legacy loot.
at least i used to be able to just step a highlev in and out yet stay partied to get the mode then solo to get both drops scaled to me during sl.

wait... LL is normally activated by being >11lvls above the content.
i see search results about sl being made LL in dflight... but not under what circumstances.
guessing 61 or 70?

You got kicked because LFG is for GROUPS and not Twinks to speedrun like they think. Some Twink players are fun to group with and than there are those where a "this is a speedrun, stay back and enjoy" message pops up like they didn't need 4 others to que. These are the ones that will inevitably ruin it. There's a video oit with all the populars. Ajax, Xist, Nova and on and on doing these negative runs. Over an hour of mad runs and people's names and it's going to ruin it for those of us that really enjoy it sadly.

If a twink speedrunning your dungeon ruins your experience that’s entirely on you. There is quite literally zero negatives and only benefits. You are completing the dungeon faster than you would have otherwise. You can’t apply how you want your experience to be onto other people, if you don’t want to speedrun through a dungeon that’s on you. Go make a group of levelers and que together. You aren’t entitled to anything.
