guild reputation

hello twinkinfo =)

i am currently in an all 19 guild, and after seeing that "critter kill squad" gave a mini pet, we went straight ahead and grinded it within a week.

however, as we closed in on 45k, i read on a forum, that you need exalted to get this pet.

does ANYBODY have any tips on how to get guild reputation, just to friendly? i currently have 259 guild rep, and thats the guild record. (from neutral to friendly ofc.)

we HAVE done everything we could to change this, and i will strongly recommend other dedicated twinks to go to the official forums, and posting complaints about it ingame to GM's.

we have tested guild runs with a guild group, some bosses awards 1 guild reputation (same as a quest), and some bosses awarded 2. there seemed to be no discernable pattern as to what bosses gave 1, and what bosses gave two, as it didn't matter if it were level 20 or 19 bosses.

also, for obvious reasons, the third option, rated battlegrounds, are not possible imo.

any tips, glitches, bugs? anything?

I noticed this a while back while leveling my twink. I was only getting 1-2 exp per quest, sometimes up to 4-5 though (this was for a level 39). Only obvious solution I saw was to get your main in a high level guild (they should be 7 or 8 unless they didn't hit the cap 1 day) and have him get exalted for the BoAs. At 80-85 you get more around 60 exp per quest.

hi chill,

I fear the answer to your ultimate question is this: like everything of twinking (gearing up, getting rep/achievements, guild rewards, etc.), it takes a maddening long time of repetetive grinding.

All twink shortcuts are nil -

bwaah.. i have a main in the guild, we are currently grinding xp for BoA, but i'm also frustrated, due to us not being able to optain armadillo pet, guild page, and all of the other guild rewards, worth mentioning, that i would VERY much like to have, is the banner that increases honor gained... :(

but meh, i theorycrafted this a little. getting the "1000 quests achieved" achievement, from scrap, will only grant you around 750-max 900 guild rep, since apparently, not all of the quests gives guild rep. (just did the entire of elwynn forest, gave me around 11 rep -.-')

each dungeon (provided you can assemble a 4/5 guild group) is around 10 rep for ALL bosses. add this to the tops 900, and you get.. bwaaahh.... around a million guild runs needed, to exalted :\

Guild reputation is supposed to mean something. That's why they made it so you will only get halfway or so through Honored leveling from 1-85. The system was designed tp reward players for being a part of the same guild for a period of time. Also allows guild leaders to see who's active and contributing.

still, this means nothing to us, since i can be active from now on and til deathwing's demise, and i still won't make friendly.

So, do YOU have to be honored WITH the Guild? Or does the guild just have to have a high guild level?

I'm confused on this.

no but you need to be in guild when they reach 20 i guess. but as of now you need no rep.

Yes, but you're not active in the right way. The game revolves around leveling and end game, not twinking.

Honored and the guild has to be level 20 or higher.

This. To twink properly these days, you simply need a highlvl toon in a guild. I'm not a fan of it either but it's pretty easy to just lvl a toon to 85 and join a random guild that caps their XP each week so you can get them BoAs in 3 months
