Event / Rules:
GNOMEBALL and IRON GNOME
Gnomeball - Association Rules:
Players:
Two Horde teams, preferably Tauren:
3-5 Elemental Shamans per team
1 Holy Priest using Dominate Mind and Chastise per team (Optional Challenge Mode)
Equipment:
1 Non-spherical Ball - A Gnome Warrior
(drugged - the Gnomeball only moves to the kick-off point after a goal)
Orgrimmar and Undercity tabards to separate teams.
Officials:
1 Gnomekeeper - An Alliance Discipline Priest to shield and heal the Gnomeball, peferably also a Gnome
2 Referees, preferably Gnomes
(TAG* objects against Gnome referees but the GLIB** insists.)
Objective:
Teams score by moving the Gnomeball into the other team's goal, using Thunderstorm
(Gratuitous use of Warstomp on the Gnomeball is encouraged.)
(Optional: Dominate Mind / Interrupts on the other team's Dominate Mind)
Duration:
Two halftimes of 10 minutes each.
Pitch:
The Ring of Trials:
Zoom on one of the two goals:
Outcome:
The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, the teams will obliterate each other in a death-match, the four Gnomes will kill any survivors and the Gnomes will win.
*Tauren Association for Gnomestomping
Responsible for arranging competitions
**Gnomeball League Interfactional Board
Sets the actual Laws of the Game
Game variation - Iron Gnome
In this variation the Gnomes may participate actively and there's no class restriction for the Horde.
Players:
Two Horde teams, 3-5 per team
1 Gnome Warrior per team
1 Gnomekeeper (Alliance healer) per Gnome
Objective:
The Gnome Warriors start at the pillars on opposite sides, they run in a circle around all four pillars and try to catch (charge) the other Gnome.
Aaaaaand it's a GNOMERUN!
Teams score when their Gnome succeeds in catching the other Gnome, reaching Gnomeplate, so to speak.
Teamates can run ahead of their own Gnome and let him charge them to speed him up, or run over and slow down the enemy Gnome.
Shamans can TS to help or hinder, other classes use their CC.
Duration:
Two halftimes of 10 minutes each.
Pitch:
