Gnome racial and Engineering?

Does the gnome racial still unlock any useful Engineering items/perks for 19 Twinks?



I thought it did back in the day some trinket and the discombobulater ray?

Escape Artist - Gnome racial lets you get out of movement reduction or that ice thing mages put on you.

Human racial is better and lets you get out of any movement reduction and more unlike the gnome one.

Gnome can use Jumper cables. Every 30mins they have a chance to Res an ally. However, atm one of the matts needed to make it, Flask of Oil, is un-obtainable. I have ticketed a GM, and got the reply that it no longer drops/is sold from anything. However, some comments on wowhead > flask of oil, are saying different replies from GMs and it will be re-added to the game.



Gnomes are small, so for the players out there that click on all their enemies you have an advantage.



Racial does not share CDown with Insignia, which is cool.

Req. 165 Engineering as far as I can tell.



All classes can get 150 engineering. Gnomes get the +15 Engineering racial. 150 + 15 = 165. Pretty sure only Gnomes, can res using these cables at 19.

All good. Had to quickly check wowhead thinking maybe they changed it. But no, only our gnome twinks can use these badboys.

I thought they dropped the engineering bonus to +10 for cata. I guess I'm wrong.

I'm not sure who would use jumper cables nowadays, though, other than maybe AB.

Escape Artist, Mortar, and Arcane resistance are all very welcome abilities in the bracket.

Human Racial is nice, but Escape artist doesn't share CD with trinket like Every Man for Himself does, so if you need to take down an FC or healer, sometimes you need to EA then trinket to do it. It's very very nice.
