I was a bit confused at first, but pretty much what you're saying is that these items (ie. from SM GY/Libs) are ilevel 35+ atm but 29s can't use them. Get them enchanted with BC enchants atm, then in Cata they'll be lower level but ilevel 34? Similar to Windstorm Hammer? Excellent, thank you.

ya, you got the idea right but it's different from windstorm, although similar. basically get them(maybe multiple of them) and slap on whatever BC enchant you like. and just wait for cata to use them!

i actually had a response from a gm about the bc chants and he confirmed that it is 100% intended that they now only check the item lvl, the required lvl no longer matters. eg: heart of agammagan, thermaplugg's left arm and maybe 1 or 2 other items at 29. another question though is will this work the same with wotlk chants for 59s too

you can get tons of wotlk enchants even as a 49 now. not mentioning 59.



btw, http://cata.wowhead.com/item=6694/heart-of-agamaggan will require level 30 in cata so it's only good for a month for a 29.

I have a question. Can i enchant the mace with item lvl 35 with mongoose even though its required level is 30? and then if that works it will be required lvl 29 then i can use it? Is so thats excellent news.

obe, this is a better mainhand-offhand combo for hunters than your dal'rend+sentinel (2 stam+2 hit vs 1 agility), however, i think the staff still wins hands down:

simply because even if people go with two 1-h weapons, the most they can get is 20agi on 1 and 15agi on the other one, BECAUSE THERE AREN'T A PAIR OF GOOD-STATS 35+ 1-h FOR HUNTERS(the best pair of 35+ is this.)



so the staff wins because it can also receive 35 agility (35=20+15) and it has good stats.

Got the axe aswell, but it has 30 int on it.
