Genuinely exciting talent / ability changes

Haven't played 20's properly in a long time, but these changes look genuinely interesting.

Druids can use frenzied regeneration before 21, and moonkin before level 21!!... Did they forget they're supposed to put all interesting abilities 1 level after what we can reach as f2p's / vets?

World exploring, PvE, transmog hunting, all quite interesting for a "free" portion of this game.

We just need to all submit bug reports and complaints on the forums, that starter accounts need to be taken out of the 'XP off' battleground bracket' We have had this happen in the past, maybe we can fix this problem once again.. Pretty sure we can post in certain official WoW forums even without subcriptions.
Submit, and complain.

HUzza! Let's go the woke path & demand that F2P be removed from the XPoff segregation & call them racist against Twinks!

Right now most classes have at least one spec able to solo dungeons which is absolutely awesome for pure f2p wanting to do more PVE oriented stuff. I made tests with semi-decent gear (Pandaria ilvl 28 and Northrend Enchanting so for instance about 139 Strenght and Armor and 170 Stamina on an Arms Warrior) and I just wanted to give my quick review of the classes :) Btw that's by no means a guide to the classes I mostly play Shaman and Paladin/DH/Druid as secondaries so I'm pretty sure most people will find ways for o

Resto Shaman is pretty decent, Dragynslayer rated it A tier in SL and it's still pretty much accurate to this day. I mean it got buffed too (blessed with good AOE in Chain Lighting and Acid Rain) but there is still a gap between Shaman and the S classes (Hunter, Warlock, Paladin and maybe even Druid now). That being said, Shaman benefits from these new talents even though we lost Unleash Life. Healing Surge will still powerheal you, we have Astral Shift and Earth Shield so overall... neat.

Prot Paladin lost the Holy Power generation on Avenger's Shield but gain an interrupt/silence, Grand Crusader and Auras. Holy paladin is one of the few classes I never played that much so I don't know if it's a viable option for dungeons but I wouldn't be suprised if it was.

Hunter is... well... Hunter. Even more OP right now thanks to the HUGE buff to pet healing. An awesome option if you're just starting to solo dungeons.

Same thing for Warlocks, small buffs to an already good class which makes it even better and also a good option if you begin.

Druid is probably the most buffed class (maybe a tie with Monks). Whereas you were reliant on Regrowth crits, you now have Frenzied Regeneration, Rejuvenation and Swiftmend on top of Regrowth. Stacking Ironfurs, easier rage generation thanks to Swipe which procs Gore and grants AOE damages with Barkskin being the cherry on top. Overall Guardian Druis is fantastic and has the survivability it lacked while pulling quite decent damages. I haven't tried it yet but Resto Druid might be able to do it too idk.

Monks are also much better. Brewmasters can now benefit from Stagger and Shuffle. Purifying Brew and Keg Smash are pretty good but the real MVPs here are Soothing Mist and Improved Vivify. Monk still seems to be kinda meh compared to other classes (I'm not that big of a Monk played that being said and I basically went with Pandaria ilvl 28 and no enchants so a better geared Monk might be crazy). Still a huge upgrade from SL. We'll just miss the interrupt although it's much less impactful in PVE.

Vengeance Demon Hunter was good before, it's still good now. The only notable loss is Sigil of Misery and we gain a much better Sigil of Flame, better Shattered Souls, better Soul Cleave, more mobility. A really good class once you get how to manage heals with Shattered Souls.

Blood Death Knight is also really cool with a bit of Mastery for physical damage and Anti-Magic Shell for magic damage, more health than in SL which equals more Death Strike heals and an emergency button in Vampiric Embrace. I still find it to be a bit short in heals but once again I rarely play DK so a more experienced DK player will probably make it work easily.

I didn't tried Warrior a lot (only did a Ragefire Chasm run which is one of if not the easiest dungeon at 20) and don't play it that much anyways but it seems like it has a really good potential. You basically take 55% less from Ignore Pain, 20% from Defensive Stance, 5% from the tank talent which name I can't remenber (also grants 30% Stam and 70% of Strenght into Armor), I had 5% reduction from Versa, Parry increased by crits (easy 15% Parry) and you have blocking, critical blocks and Shield Block (2charges now). The healing from Impending Victory, Leech and Second Wind (for the second boss) was enough for the run but on harder Dungeons or magic damaging bosses I'm afraid it might be a bit weak. The damage was a nice surprise tho. To all of you more experienced Warrior players I'm bad at the class so you certainly won't have trouble make it work like DKs and Monks.

Priests are the class I was the most surprised about. The MVP here is Focused Will which acts as a 30% damage reduction most of the time. I found both Holy and Discipline to be working with Holy being often better dur to much higer damage but Discipline is far superior on hard hitters thanks to Atonement (had 30% Mastery so Power word : Shield was of 800 damage and 1600 on crits). I suggest to take Schism if you go Disc because either way you'll take about 6 hours on a single boss. That being said if you want to, you can go through whole dungeons without taking a single damage. Think of Disc as your "emergency option" on touger bosses and Holy as your go-to either way. For Holy just go full into Empyreal Blaze cuz tmost of the other talents are either AOE heals (useless in solo). A nice surpise, really quick to DPS down bosses as Holy even more unkillable than a Prot Pally as Discipline (no joke). I haven't tried Shadow yet, maybe it'll work too.

For Mage and Rogue, these are the classes I play the less but I strongly doubt you can do dungeons (little to no heals/damage reduction). If anybody has a way to solo dungeons as these classes please tell me i'd love to try :)

That's all sorry it went on longer than I though.

Prot warr is really good right now for pve content, the damage type doesnt matter much, you dont even need to be in defensive stance tbh, you can just occasionally put up an ignore pain. Just let the auto attacks, thunder clap and revenge spam reset your shield slam.
Passive Riposte is also crazy, in battle stance my prot warr is sitting at 40% crit and 30% parry rate. Id go as far to say that it is the best tank at 20 currently for dungeons.

So rogues compared to sl only gained and didnt trade anything in exchange (maybe except eviscerate nerf). Aside from obvious utility they gained (and we're talking absolute dueling machine lvls of utility) I like the energy regen every spec tree provides, thanks to which in pve rogue doesn't feel like auto-attacking bot anymore. Saddest part about new trees is that fury war is no longer going to be my main because now its complete oposite of sl. Before you had many ways to spend rage (ww, ignore pain, rampage), now you have easy rage generation and a whacky slam as only spender. It really feels like taking a viagra and the moment you get erection your significant other decides to leave and you are just left there alone, with raging boner. I guess the spec name captures the feel perfectly now

Yeah fury is scuffed, the only positive is no rage ww lets me keep vibroblade armor pen up forever but outside of that its just worse then the other 2 specs at everything. Slam doesnt get its damage buff until alter ( might be arms only now I have to check) so your rage spender hits as hard as impending victory lol.

I like that my 20 rogue gets two specs that have energy regen mechanics which makes it feel a lot better to play but damage wise I am only up a little bit. utility wise though its worth it.
