Gear farm - use a highlevel to boost or solo?

Hello,

I'm starting to build a lv10 twink but ran into a question that I hope someone can answer.

So far I've been using a lv45 to speed clear dungeons but this enacts legacy loot, the lv10 is getting all kinds of boss loot it can't use.

Am I better off taking it slow and just using the twink to clear for boss drops?

Kinda depends on your class or gear.

If you play a class that can drop aggro or you have the Bloodthorn invis ring, then you can run to bosses, drop aggro, and solo just the boss. This CAN be better than bein ran by a high lvl on legacy loot if the boss has a big loot table.

If there's a lot of mobs and dropping aggro leads to a lot of downtime waiting on CD's, then the high lvl route CAN be better.

RNG still plays it's role in both scenarios.

Its all rng. It can take 50 runs either way or 1. Just do what you find easiest and most repeatable, if thats speed running on a high lvl or just afk healing pugs is a personal preference.
