Fury Warrior - iLvl 60 weapons versus TBC ivl 30 + sockets?

Hi, pretty new to twinking and so far having a blast, I tried searching but I did not find much so apologize

Is a ilvl 60 2h better to use than a ilvl 30 weapon with 3 sockets?

Right now I'm using 1x Waveslicer and 1x Smites Hammer, both ilvl 60, but now that its TBC TW i thought i could go solo Underbog for Hatebringer, or is that not worth it?

What about ilvl 30 gear with sockets compared to 60?
