Funny Tips & Tricks

So I know a few various skills when used in the right situtation can be very helpful.

Disengage, a fun hunter skill.

1) Using any kind of slow fall then jumping off any decently high place, results in quite a large jump, such as the roof of the tunnel exits.

2) Heres one I personally developed, if you are losing, dieing, or just wish to get some where else, you will like this. A high cliff area such as Lumber Mill in AB, don't have a parachute cloak like me? No Problem!!

If you are in combat, you can jump off the side...go pretty far down (I say around 40-70% of the height of the cliff, then hit disengage..repeling you off the wall, this acts as if you only jumped from that height, and you take very minimal dmg if done correctlly.

Alright those are the two I can think of, what about the rest of you? I know yall got some fun Tips & Tricks ;)

speed boots in the LM building + slow fall = fly to BS. just remember to keep slowfall up the whole time across.

blink right as you drop from a large height - if timed correctly you will blink fowards and not take damage

on the alliance/horde roof in WSG, to transition to 2nd floor don't run straight off. run up to the ledge, turn off run for just a split second, and in that time jump. right as you jump, move foward again and if done right you should jump about 1/2 a yard off of the roof onto 2nd floor, as compared to running a few yards of the roof.

I personally enjoy "log hopping" in the center of WSG when I'm FC in a PuG.

I usually run around the log near the Horde base where the heal is, jumping up and just over the little obsticles. While my enemies get caught in these obstacles, I'm having my own little get-away.

Doesn't exactly work if you have a hunter on you.

X.X

-jumping off a gy with a flag and intercepting back up after people jumped off after you

-wing clipping through scatter/freezing trap without breaking your cc

-telling my healers to get people to trinket cc so I can get a full duration fear off

-after chill wears off, intercepting mages without hitting them, then popping golden hare/int shout to get to them right after a blink

-intercept forward -> golden hare -> pvp trinket while FCing

Mages can use blink to lure people over edges as well. I've seen this done quite effectivly in WSG on the thrid floor. The mage was the FC and he had about 3 melee on him, he ran off the edge as if to jump down in the flag room, quickly did a 180 and blinked before he fell too far, ending up on the path to the 3rd floor, while all the mellee jumped down and fell.

On my hunter I use disengage to jump the fences around the exterior of either base all the time. It a great escape mechanism if you're low on health or kiting lots of people.

Anybody with a slowfall can get onto the horde resto hut by slwofalling from the hord GY while charging off mounted, or using a speed pot. However, a hunter can get from the Alliance GY to the alliace resto hut the same way but with a disengage in mid air.

heres a good one...set "walk" to an easy keybind and when ur about to run off a ledge hit that bind...then a split second later (as ur falling) hit it again...ur guy basically slows down to walking speed for a split second, drops straight down (instead of flying off the ledge) and then can run under the ledge and get a good bit of distance on ur attackers

you can also get the same effect by stopping, jumping, and running again, this means you move just slightly off the cliff (if you began right at the edge) and it does the same thing without having to bind a 'walk' key.
