Hi and welcome back! A lot has changed since you left, which means you’re in for a pretty significant rebuild. Most important to know is that gear from bosses now scales to your level. Any blues you get from dungeons will be item level 23 now.

So, keep your belt and your pants. Everything else needs to be replaced. The good news is, it can be replaced entirely with dungeon drops. Some of it will even be the same item but with a higher item level. For instance, you gloves and bracers just need to be updated to the “new” version.

Both druids and warriors are extremely strong this expansion. Balance druids are top tier dips and resto druids are exceptional healers. Fury warriors put out a ton of damage and arms is extremely underrated. We have a thread of up to date armories you can browse through to get some gearing ideas.

Gear how you want, of course, but in my opinion your secondary stat priority for both warriors and druids is versatility > haste > crit

The first word of advice is to complete the Stonetalon Mountains Quest chain, which will reward you with access to some equipment that is higher item level than what is otherwise available to you, and consequently has much better stats. Here's my Horde Priest for you to base your equipment set as a Starter Edition player:

I got my Krom'gar General's Linen Cowl in legion7.3.5. And, the stat is much lower (somewhat like +5 or +6 int). Seems like level scaling changed everything. But sadly, this Cowl is the only headgear available to cloth wearing f2p apart from the much worse Fishing Hat.

Also, for a f2p, SEAL OF ARGUS available from the quest currently is of level 19 +3int/agility. I have tried this in BFA and decided to abandon the quest after seeing how bad the gear reward was. Much worse than those available from random dungeon/bg rewards. So the only real useful gear obtainable from the Stonetalon Mountains Quest chain is the Cowl, if you wear cloth. (And the plate helms, if you don't want to farm WC/blackfathom deeps which have very low drop rate)
