Mumble is the shit. After using Vent for 3+ years, my raiding guild recently made the switch to it, and their simply is no comparison between the two. No system crashes and lag that is so prevalent with Vent, the sound quality is far superior and features are so much more customizable. Wish more folks would take the plunge and make Mumble the standard rather than the alternative.

Mumble's where it's at.
We at Tasty Beverage started using it as soon as the world first Lich King kill by Blood Legion happened and they gave credit to the program. It's virtually ping-free and much more lightweight. With an awesome optional overlay too.
Fights such as Heroic LK would be close to impossible without it.

man i bought a mumble server a year ago and trying to get anyone in my guild to even TRY it was absolute pulling teeth. cancelled for disuse, the damn lazy luddites.
