Feral, what do I stack?

So far I've been trying to stack as much agi and stamina on my feral druid as possible but I was wondering if I should try to stack some strength too for AP? How much hit should I get btw? I'm planning to make both a tanking set and a puredps set.

Thx! :)

You need 10 hit rating, which is 5% to cap for melee.

Agility should be the stat you stack the most. After that you should be grabbing crit or stamina depending on whether you want a little more survivability or more damage.

Don't stack strength, it's nearly useless for feral druids.

I believe your best bet is to use the exact gear rogues use with repurposed lava dredger.

Well you are wasting your time making a tank feral set for pvp imo as resto is the way to go for fc'ing (self heals>faster kitty and damage).
But as for the dps kitty goes, fero bite does in fact hit like a truck with ferals so stack straight agility, honestly disregard getting more stam over agil unless its like a substantial difference (5 stam vs 1 agil take the stam).

You are basically a rogue, with less damage and control and more mobility (debatable). If you are planning to kill any priest or paladin with a brain on your own (you are in luck in that section 50% of the time), dream on because you simply don't have the tools to do it.

Do feral druids need expertise?

I ment as Foreman's are BiS for rogues, are they aswell for feral druids? :)

It is tough to say. Feral druids don't have gouge to worry about. It is probably about personal preference, could try both Foreman's and Fang.

Generally, Fang would be the best choice since druids have a 25% slow and run 30% faster in cat, so it shouldn't be difficult to stay behind your target, although I use Foreman's because I'm lazy and I don't feel like spending the extra effort to get behind someone lol.

@OP, check the druid in my sig, that would be your BiS non GF'd setup. Stained Shadow Craft Shoulders and Ello's band are useless since autoattacks do not need extra hit (like Rogues). Instead of using a 2nd Argas Ring (if you do not want to faction change) use the pvp WSG ring. Stacking strength also isn't as good when you can get stamina as a filler on enchants because of the strength nerf however many patches ago.

Edit- ALSO, Cobrahn's Boots from the WC quest are also a nice alternative for Feet of the Lynx. Generally because there is a major, almost unnoticable, DPS difference between the 2.

I would say you should use foreman's gloves since you will not be losing much by not using gloves of the fang.

Hit cap>Crit>Agil>Stam

as other poster said your build is same as rogues.

prior to WOTLK druids in bear form where essentially warriors and strength gave druids 2 AP per 1 STR and they only got cirt from having AGI in bear form but, in cat from they got 1AP per 1AGI and 1 STR. in WOTLK blizz made AGI = AP in bear or cat....from that point on druids no longer needed 2 sets of gear or strength because they got more armor and crit from AGI stacking.. in CATA they made 1 AGI = 2 AP and no more armor from agility but they still get 1AP per 1STR. so i would say farm 2 sets of black wolf bracers and put 9 stam on one set and 9 strength on the other...switch as needed.

yes feral druids benefit from expertise, you need it fighting warriors, paladins, rogues especially and to cut past the 5% passive dodge/parry of other classes. hits can be dodged/parried which is basicly a miss or a negated special attack. come MOP supposedly all classes will require some expertise. so get a set of foreman's gloves and fang gloves and change out as needed.

Hit cap>Crit>Agil>Stam

Expertise has very limited role in playing Feral.

If you spec 2/3/0 and go into infected wounds you should almost always be able to get on someones back (with the exception of rogues that sprint)
When playing feral you don't always just dump your energy, but when you need to just be fast about it. Another reason as to why Crit is so important: You will have very limited time on target (whether you are getting peeled off by teammates/other CC, or if you range your own healers [Druids get shredded at low levels]) so its very important to hit hard a few times then to do consistent damage.

Have you considered using Shadowfang Spaulders for the crit bonus? I never see ferals using that, but once over hit cap, it looks better than the PvP shoulders unless you get focused that hard that often.

Important questions:

Are you Horde or have access to getting Horde gear?
Do you have Tunic of Westfall?
Do you have Gloomshroud?
Do you have the Dread Pirate Ring?
Do you have Ello's Band?

http://chardev.org/profile/399222-BiS-Feral-Druid.html

If no Gloomshroud, Tunic of Westfall
If no Tunic of Westfall, Azure Scale Vest
If no Horde Gear, BoA Chest

Non-BoA Chest Builds:
If no Dread Pirate Ring, Ello's Band
If no Ello's Band, WSG Ring and swap wrists for Scrupleless Bracers

BoA Chest Build(aka Alliance only build):
Replace BoA shoulders with Shadowfang Spaulders
Replace Ring (if you don't have DPR) with WSG Ring
Replace Gloves with Sparkproof Gloves or Gloves of the Fang

Perhaps. I have yet to theorycraft with much of my druid's gear, although they generally have low survivability. The shoulders have about 4 resil and 2 more stam then the Stained Shadow. Although, if a druid's going for the crit approach (Cobra boots, etc.) then I could see it being a nice addition to a crit set or perhaps a "gank set" as people would say.

Is this good? (Troll Feral Druid)

Lucky Fishing Hat
Scout's Medallion
Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders
Tumultuous Cloak of the Bandit (+8 Dodge, +8 Agility)
Stained Shadowcraft Tunic (+4 Stats)
Black Wolf Bracers (+9 Stamina)
Foreman's Gloves (+15 Agility)
Smelting Pants (+16 Armor)
Cobrahn's Boots (+8% Run Speed)
Protector's Band
Signet of Argas
Arena Grand Master
Inherited Insignia of the Horde
Repurposed Lava Dredger (+25 Agility)

Swap gloves for Wild Riders
Put 7 Agil or 7 Stam on Boots

and spec 2/3/0 + Infected Wounds
