Mythic Al
Boring Troll
1. Introduction.
Hello, everyone. With the Darkmoon Faire looming around the corner, I thought it would be nice to have a brief guide on how to obtain all the Darkmoon Races’ rewards as well as the simpler daily quest rewards for Starter Edition players. I have gathered up some YouTube Videos (Not my own!) from other users in order to provide a single place of all the compiled information regarding Darkmoon Faire for those new to the event.
2. What you will need.
-Level 20 for the Racing Quests
-Lots of http://www.wowhead.com/item=71083/darkmoon-game-tokens
-Complete the http://www.wowhead.com/quest=37819/welcome-to-the-darkmoon-races Quest to open repeatable Racing Quests
-Patience (as some of the Races can require precise jumps and multiple attempts)
3. Daily Quest Rewards.
There are six (6) Daily Quest Rewards from the Darkmoon Faire that may be acquired by Starter Edition players. I will be covering four (4) of them:
1)
Quest: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29463/its-hammer-time
Achievement: http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9983/thats-whack
Reward: http://www.wowhead.com/item=123862/hogs-studded-collar
Goal: Reach Score of 45
Description:
This one is pretty straight forward: Just aim for Hoggers (over normal Gnolls) that have popped out of the barrel most recently. Avoid traveling far for Hoggers/Gnolls that have been up for more than 2 seconds.

2)
Quest: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29434/tonk-commander
Achievement: http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9885/ace-tonk-commander
Reward: http://www.wowhead.com/item=122122/darkmoon-tonk-controller
Goal: Reach Score of 45
Description:
You will notice that you can fire off a Tonk shot and start moving on to the next one before the cannonball reaches its target, this can shave some seconds off of your total time. Also be smart with your boosts: I often like to use them when surrounded by enemy tonks and zeppelins in order to avoid getting shot down.

3)
Quest: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=36481/firebirds-challenge
Achievement: http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9252/brood-of-alysrazor
Reward: http://www.wowhead.com/item=116115/blazing-wings
Goal: Reach Score of 50
Description:
There are a few optimal paths for hitting as many rings without running out of time between each ring. Check out the video below for an example of one.

4)
Quest: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29455/target-turtle
Achievement: http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9894/triumphant-turtle-tossing
Reward: http://www.wowhead.com/item=122123/darkmoon-ring-flinger
Goal: Reach Score of 10
Description:
The trick to this mini-game is to aim for the middle (where the turtle stops and changes direction) and to toss the ring as soon as the turtle reaches the outer ring and turns back around towards the center. The throwing animation and ring flight last as long as the turtle’s sprint back to the center.
