Hi, new here, is it possible to run my twink through dungeons with my main? I have an old acct I could activate and was wondering if t was worth it. And what are any possible pitfalls/downsides.Thanks
This hasnt been what happens for me.if you run solo, every boss drops something for you .. if you run in 2s or 3s or more, each boss only drop 1 (sometimes randomly they drop twice, or even 3 times, very rarely, but the standard is once) .. so if you want to run in group, run in 5s, but you will need 5 accounts to do that
Only true for WoD dungeonsif you run solo, every boss drops something for you .. if you run in 2s or 3s or more, each boss only drop 1 (sometimes randomly they drop twice, or even 3 times, very rarely, but the standard is once) .. so if you want to run in group, run in 5s, but you will need 5 accounts to do that
As noted, this is only WoD dungeons for some reason. It's also not clear if it's all WoD TW dungeons. This hasnt been what happens for me.
Plenty of times I still get only TW badges and gold.
To give you an example I just ran an entire darkheart thicket solo.
Gold & badges from every single boss, nothing else.
At least on this past TW cycle. All Wod dungeons dropped 100% when soloAs noted, this is only WoD dungeons for some reason. It's also not clear if it's all WoD TW dungeons.
It's really annoying actually. During the anniversary event I was running 5 man dungeons by myself for this very reason: to funnel drops to one toon. It's really tedious though and you have to watch out for follow breaking on 4 toons because input broadcasting was made against ToS.
For various reasons I'm now playing on a M4 Mac Mini, which is actually a really solid way of playing WoW now but AFAICT all the Mac multiboxing software doesn't work or exist anymore whereas on Windows I'd run one screen on normal and a 2x2 grid on a secon dmonitor for the rest of my aprty. I don't think you can do that on a Mac now. But I digress.
There's another situation where you get max drops everytime but it's only for non-TW dungeons and that's where you trigger legacy loot by bringing in a toon higher level than the dungeon. Then it's legacy loot but won't even consider the classes. You'll get random loot from their loot tables for any class. It will still be split by toon though so if there are 2 drops and you have one 10 and one 80, each toon will get to loot 1 item and IIRC they'll be the level of the toon looting them (up to the max level of the dungeon). For example: in TBC, you'd get one level 10 item and one level 30 item.
I really wish you'd just get the full loot table with a less than full group. It would make things os much easier.
