Farming Demon Bands... halp me..

Hey guys,
I'm having a hard time getting the Demon Band to drop off BFD (I might be doing something wrong). Its says that it drops off of Twilight Shadow 6% chance, but when I run the dungeon all I see are Twilight Shadowmage, not sure if that's the same thing. Let me know if you guys have any success farming these.

Ok I think i figured it out, ive only been farming the mobs on the first floor of the dungeon.

if youre not having any luck with this you can try the chests in sfk, got two from there.

I'm not sure that you will get level 19 versions killing trash in BFD. I recently got 3 farming the chests in SFK on my 120 main.

Weird, so it'll be one of the four version of the demon band when you loot from chest? Also do you know if the chests need lockpicking?

Chests will always drop items at their original item level, so demon bands will be level 19/ilevel 24. Some will need lockpicking, some won't - you'll come across both locked and unlocked chests in SFK.

Pretty sure I have a couple on Vashj if you'd like to buy one instead though. I thiiiink I have one left on each faction. I tend to hoard stuff but I don't really have any plans to use them.

i used to do farms like this until 2 years ago when i realized its faster to farm the gold on a highlvl and just buy the item u need. just a frendly tip. Remember that just because u farm it yourself dosent make it free. Value your time

Yeah frostwolf been really slow in the AH since I resubbed. It's really hard to find anything for my twinks, thank God we merged with Vashj, otherwise we'd have nothing. Also, we have some person who just goes around and buys out materials and relists them for 400% cost.

Adding to this; Chests don't scale and my main has Engineering meaning I can open the chests that are locked.

only zone specific item drops will scale from containers like chests or lockboxes

Which is a shame, but true. You are far better putting in overtime at work and buying tokens than playing the game for an equal amount of time.

So started farming SFK chests on my lvl 100. Did about 15 runs. Would see 2-3 chests each time. All of the items were from 16-20 lvl req and usually from ilvl19-25. picked up a good 2hander. Still no demon bands yet.
