where is a good location to farm whether it be chests or killing rares?

You are guaranteed a Blue BOE every run in Razorfen Kraul. They drop from the big frog that is meant to be rare but is there everytime near the last boss. All lvl 29 ilvl 34 blue BOEs. Some are BiS like Zealot Blade, others are trash like Burning War Axe. He also drops a few BiS green BOEs too.

Scarlet Monastery for chance on items like Beguiler Robes which used to be gf, but were added back to the loot table.
Make sure to do it on a level 29, since rare items scale to looters level.

What about world drop boes like Lil Timmy's Peashooter any time I've received one of those on my 29 it's been scaled for a level 16..

Yeah! I second that! Treasure Chests reward blue BoEs more often than rare spawns it seems. But the scaled world drop BoEs have higher item level.

That only drops in Gnomer.

But yes, you can find it at level 29. The 29 version has an iLvl of 31.

Not on a 29. I run it with a 100 I have on the same realm as my twinks. RFK is the best place for lvl 29 ilvl 34 greens but the scaling is all kinds of fucked up. I get gear for anywhere between levels 26 and 55 on my lvl 100. Very fortunate when a lvl 29 item drops on that dungeon (except the frog, he always drops items at lvl 29).

I haven't tried it but theoretically if you did it in a group of 29s the frog should drop an item for everyone. He never fails to drop an item when I am farming RFK.
