F2P BM monk FC gear

Decided I wanted to gear my ww/mw monk for fcing too. Was thinking of this kind of gear, thoughts/changes? Would be for alliance.

helm: LFH (or leather loom?)
neck: loom
shoulders: magician mantle
cloak: stam satchel (or loom?)
chest: loom
wrists: black wolf/serrakis (ancient grove bigger stam or not?)
weapon: loom wep (cant think of anything better atm)
OH: old ironjaw
hands: defias
belt: fang
legs: defias
boots: fang
ring1: ellos band
ring2: DPR
trinket1: pvp trink
trinket2: tyranny

All discussion and debate about bm fcing/gear/etc also very welcome. Thanks.

for BM specific.

edit: use Bracers of the Ancient Grove, Satchel Stamina Cloak, Fang Belt if you can't get TSS, and Ello's Band. Lastly, get Stable Boots from vendor in Loch Modan, they scale same as Wrangler's Boots of Stamina (10) as well as any pair of boots that are single stat of stamina.
also, could you link the monk itself?

it's worth it, trust me :) also, not my character, I que with him on my mw Maxii (shown in sig). I don't like fcing as BM though, I'm more of a self heals kind of guy. I like to pug fc mw, and it's quite fun. I just need some more gear with same stamina, but has int too. :D

also gonna say that using the defias gear is only viable as BM, because you don't get the bonus armor as damage reduction as any of the other specs.

I'll run through some tests later. Especially with the upcoming armor buff for BMs in 6.2 (IIRC), armor might scale pretty well. Thanks for the tips buddy!

I think a more balanced build is better than complete max stam, so I would use loom head and loom cloak. As for chest toughened leather armor is 17 stam or mystics robe is 18 stam 5 int, those may be better. I would use 2x loom swords with mending main hand and colossus OH (i tested and it seems to be better than 2x mending or 2x colossus). If you want the 10 armor bonus, using loom legs and using defias boots + gloves gives you more overall stats. Also ancient groove should be 8 stam 5 agi.

EDIT: for WW you can get a good 10%+ haste just from heirlooms and I use loom staff with 18 agi enchant, it greatly increases your heals if you are solo FCing.

It will be on a starter account so no p2p shitz except from what you can get from the loom tab. Thanks for clearing out the scaling for wrists.

I just noticed that f2p tag :p

i would just get mystics robe and bracers of the ancient groove then :p. I would also use loom head and cloak for better self heals from the haste and agi

Yeah exactly why I was thinking looms instead of pure stam. With the same logic it'd make sense to use loom chest though, too...

Some Cpt. Obvious will probably show up soon and make an argument for making 10 different gear sets for each situation, but I want a proper cookiecutter set so start with.
 
Well loom head vs lfh is 9 agi 12 haste vs 2 stam
loom cloak vs satchel is 5 agi 4 haste 4 crit vs 2 stam

loom chest vs mystic robe is 9 agi 12 crit vs 5 stam, and i dont think 12 crit will help you too much for self heals like haste does.

Just my 2 cents :p
 
Check my monk (Noobyg - TN) in sig, should be bis for pug fcing except LFH.

P.P. For max stam you have to change boots to any "of stam" pair, chest to mystic's and leggings to any of the low-ilvl scaling to 13 pairs.Gearing for max stam is not the right way to go atm tho (9 agi gives you alot better heals -> more survivability than 1 stam).

I'm pretty sure there are 13 stam 6 agi legs or something along those lines which are BiS for max stam for f2ps that cant get loom legs
