EU+US F2P Arcane

Any decent? I want to roll a class I’m used to playing but not sure if it will have the tools at 20. Would like to hear some suggestions from mages who play f2p in this bracket.

I’ll likely try to vers stack as there are a lot of nice options now, and might even reroll till I get Stonetalon chest and loch modan bracers till both are epic and go from there

While I cannot speak from personal experience on it, I can attest that the ones I have played with tend to do just fine.

However, they did indeed descend from the dark trolls.

Just play on ally side and you`ll get an Arcane Mage free education lessons by a guy who dont do anything in BGs but just say how complicated Arcane Mage class is

PS: Personally , I started to play Arcane Mage yesterday and I`m killing everything alive in BGs by pressing just 1-1-1-1-1-1 with arcane missiles and I dont have any BiS items, just heirlooms (F2P, no enchants).

I play f2p arcane and they destroy everything just like a 29 or vet arcane mage does but less damage.

It's good but you have one school of magic and no sustain whatsoever. The damage, control, and blink are what make it shine. A great support dps.

I met this guy. He used Recount for tracking dps in bgs and is convinced dps and damage done are not correlated. Safe to say he wont be splitting the atom.

Other than green lens and ring from BFD, what am I missing?

Well, that'd be a vet not a F2P.

But other than that, there are some pretty snazzy chance at epic quest rewards. But that all just comes up to luck if you end up with them or not. I'd just take a quick look at quest rewards (Likely mostly in Duskwood and Ashenvale, maybe Wetlands) for cloth over on WoWhead, and check out stuff with vers.

I used to play mage during a period, it was pretty cool to play. Not the best class but good gameplay. You have to be reactive of course. Feel free to help the community by writing a guide if ever you start doing a toon.
