Hi guys :),
after a difficult tournament night through a blizzard bug (camera) , we would like to continue the tournament :).

Day: Sunday 5:00 PM (CEST) European Server Time


Rules:
Max 1 Meele
Max 1 Healer
2x same speccs aren't allowed
You have to play the tourney till the end (no ragequit)
You have to come when u signed up.
You have to report if u can't come (till Saturday 4PM EST)
Ferals are banned

Sign up in this format:
Teamname: 'Your Teamname'
Player1: Charactername - Class - Specc
Player2: Charactername - Class - Specc
(and write down which time would be perfekt for u and for you m8)

What ist the prize?
Fun. A few gold. Points for a brand new 70 ranklist which is only for this tournament. Above 40 viewers (And it grows) are watching u and like u. 2 70s more at 70.

No reason not to make a tournament on a thursday if it's the only day he can. If some people can't join then it'll just be a smaller tournament. But there will be a tournament next saturday too (presumably).

When u read it let me explain this image better.

We are 70s. We love 70. And we would like to get some challenges and some rating like in old days.
Okay let's use BCEPQue! First months BCEPQue was successful. This addon let us show how many 70s and how the best players from 70 would play again just for rating. I met and talked with Meat, Jessie, Lewis, Famegirlx, Raz,Russian Lewis, Vachekrit, Nazkji, Tbcrogue. But what is the problem in this whole thing to play with the addon? It is simple , you gained rating for even match. At brackets like 19s and 29s isn't a problem because they are played by many players and many good players. But at 70 we haven't more players like in mop. If I won at 2,7 rating versus a 9k life disc priest i got 20 points. So everyone didnt get the motivation and the hype with it.

So I have been thinking about an idea since 2 months. We know that we love rating. We want to have a huge 70 community. And we would like to play 70 in world of warcraft in the evening and queue for arenas like 100 pvp players do and to meet someone at 1,6 MMR or at 2,6 MMR Dannyraise,culto,scoot etc..... . To be happy if the opponents get -21. To be motivated to queue all night.

How does this system would work Healium?
You need to look for a m8 like in old days and to queue for arenas. But it wouldn't be an normal queue how you know. You need to invite your m8 which u have found and you have to write to me that u are queueing. You will be added into the database with standard MMR 1500 and 0 rating. And u will be in the queue list. If we have some other teams in queue u have to get this team which is arround your MMR. Every 2 Minutes grows the MMR Range. If we got a team you will get a queue pop (Lika an normal Arena queue pop). And after the arena your rating and mmr would be changed. Matches above 2.000 MMR will be streamed (Without Schedule, you would need to follow the channel or to read the broadcast from some big 70 players).

We have again the chance to make 70 active like in mop. We have again some old players back and let's go for more old players. LEt's see at stormscale 8 70s every night which are queueing! Don't be afraid that we won't be successful guys! 1 Team queued Team = 2 Teams more = 3 70s more in the community

I would like to start these days with that. But at first it's important to hear you opinion to that. Everything is virtual. Why we shouldn't add our own virtual competition till it makes fun?

Np m8. You know that I'am not good at in english. So it would be always difficult to explain to you something :).

No i won't. The system will do it .We will use a formula for that. I guess Scoot would help me because he knows better to use that :D. My work would be to be your "Queue NPC" and to click on the application which team are in queue and later which team won and lost :)

I'd assume something like:

Team A's Current Score: x
Team B's Current Score: y

Team A's Chance of Winning: 1 / (1+10(y - x)/400) = Ca
Team B's Chance of Winning: 1 / (1+10(x - y)/400) = Cb

Now Let's say Team A won the battle then
Team A's New Score: x + 32*(1 - Ca)
Team B's New Score: y + 32*(0 - Cb)

Now Let's say Team B won the battle then
Team A's New Score: x + 32*(0 - Ca)
Team B's New Score: y + 32*(1 - Cb)

So I guess this system would emulate real rating reasonably well, with the only downside being that we can only queue when you're online?

My onlice activity is almost like an nerd. Everyone call me 24/7 player. But y at first would be so. I will be maybe for 3 days offline in the year like this weekend and thats all. But I will try to add some other "Queue NPCs". Everyone who wants to be a "Queue NPC" must be able to stream the games. But I really dont know why I shouldn't be online. If you don't see me at afternoon during the week then you will see me at 6 PM till 12 AM. And on a friday/saturday you will be able to queue from 2PM till 3 AM :)
 
Just one more question, and again sorry if you already explained this, but do we just queue for skirmishes after we told you that we're queuing, or do we tell you that we're queuing and then you wargame us vs another team that is also queuing? And if that's the case, who decides which teams face which teams?
 
I will queue both teams to wargames (like at the tournament). The system will decide which opponents you would get it knows how long a team waits and which mmr it has.
 
I think that i must let u show my imagine. Maybe everyone would understand it better :)
 
I guess that I will start this week a live and instant presentation about the Rated System. But btw I could move tourney on sunday 5 PM and we would finish around 8:20 PM for ante amanthe Event Night :)

If moving it to sunday results in more people being able to make it then I think it's a good idea.
And don't worry about the time. We're trying to encourage as many guild members to sign up as possible, so placing the tournament in the pvp event time would actually be good.
 

Saturday Bug:
I didn't get the answer from the author but from a known tournament stream GCDTV . It looks like that we would have this shit cam forever. I need to train with the new camera
