Epic procs

Hello everyone, i am a bit confused on how these procs work, i know that quest rewords can upgrade but i don't know if the items from rare mobs can upgrade, never had a proc on them but i so other claiming they have.

Now these rare mobs all have a chance to reword an epic or some specific ones.

Rares that have item that can only drop from that rare and no other rare can upgrade not anything from a rare.

 

[The Saint]

They can only upgrade if that item is unique to that rare or mob... Pale skinner is an example from a rare, foremans gloves/legs are an example from a mob.

And it doesn't seem to work on unique items that drop from dungeon mobs/rares

Edit: I would imagine the dungeon ones were over looked and will be fixed at some point... Just a guess though.

Thanks that clears up a lot, I think the items from these rares are probably better then the ones you get from quests, the epic upgrades i mean, the quest items have the generic stamina+stats and in same cases crit, while the ones from rares probably have versa crit etc

Depends on the item. Some are bis from quests if you get a proc, some are bis from unique drops.

Thing is you have one chance from a quest where as you can farm the unique drops... Some are really painful though. I have well over a hundred kills on the pale skinner mob... One blue and eight greens
