    • Ok started a shaman, going horde (even though im worried about arenas horde side, although i did get a promise from beef to do arenas) hopefully i can encourage more of the hordies to get into arenas even if they arent BiS... what i wanna know is if this chardev is BiS for pre-AGM, LFH, and BoA gear, most likely will be using it for arenas for a while before i start getting BoA gear so we will see if that encourages others to join up!!

    As far as I know you're not able to get Aluwyn's Leggings as Horde... you'd have to stick with Smelting Pants or Hogger's Trousers otherwise it looks pretty good. :)

    Even though I'd prefer Azure Scale Vest - Item - World of Warcraft for the small amount of extra crit.
     
    Correct, Aluwyn's Leggings is Alliance only. Hoggers pants, smelting pants OR Blackfathom leggings (which is what I'm rockin on my shammy). I went with the Azure Scale vest as well (more crit AND looks sexy): Zyrna @ Aerie Peak - Game - World of Warcraft Ignore the belt, the damn random of the bandit won't drop for me >_<



    *EDIT - THIS is the macro I use for purge / wind shear which as I mentioned do not share a GCD

    i just wouldnt ever macro your 2 key abilities like this ever.
     
    The setup is BiS, except legs since horde can't get those.

    I personally would go for either the caster BFD legs or Leggings of the Fang (3sta, 2int, 7 crit vs 7agi). Smelting Pants is a fine option as well, but personally like the first two more. Hogger's pants are also a very viable option AFTER you've got BoA shoulders and BEFORE BoA chest(leather +hit one).



    PS. I used that macro when I was a newbie. It is a terrible idea.
