Was messing around with relic of the past, looks like it has potential.

I'm level 25 (previously 60) still need to get my cata. engineering up, but it looks like I can learn all the way up to 75 where it was previously level locked. any thoughts? will this work? ( I know the panda cog wheels wont work because the ilvl is too low, but used as an example for higher level relics) https://imgur.com/gallery/NSkX5pT

[doublepost=1602818806][/doublepost]I should also mention that I made a scaled version (scales to 19) for my 19 hunter and the stats on the cog. gem stats stay the same!! (+16 etc.) idk if its useful at all but there's MoP goggles that can be scaled down too that have two cog sockets and a meta.

I have a few of these crafted for my 27s and the cog wheels for cata are +12 at this level.

On my 29 priest the dragonling and helm require level 33. Hotfixed or is it just unlucky if you're above a certain level range?

Edit: After seeing Blackberryy's post I imagine it's the fact I'm level 29 which bumps my gear into the next level range.

You use relics of the passed to drop the ilvl and level req

Hey bro, awesome!

I just dont understand how you can Scale this gear to lower requirement level? I would like to scale a few other items also down... like for example Rocket boots Xtreme... atm its Req level 24 for me... but i need one on my lvl 19
And lots of other stuff probably ^_^

they are unique equiped, how you managed to get 2 haste sockets in ?

He's using a MoP and a Cata cogwheel I think. Seeing as the 16 scales down to 12 which you can buy from the gnome in the dwarven district.

Edit: Actually that vendor sells 2 version of the haste gem. A quick and a precise (old hit).

The cata/mop should work seeing as they have different names.
 
Has anyone checked to see how the MoP eng helms scale with relics? They have a gem bonus of 3 stat compared to 1 for Cata. Just curious if the gem bonus also scales down.

I'm slowly leveling MoP eng now, but don't have a ton of funds on that server, waiting on tokens.
 
The cata eng lvling guide wants me to spend 138k to lvl it to 75 looooooooool
 
Updates. Made a MoP engineering helm and a scaled alchemy trinket both seem pretty cool. you can only use cata cogs for sockets because the panda ones require too high of an ilvl. https://imgur.com/gallery/fO8xB12
