End to Multiboxing?

Broken

Legend
I can't /follow others inside BG's anymore. I get a "You can't follow that unit" message.

Is it some bug or has Blizz intentionally done it to perhaps end Multiboxing/Botting?

To stop simple bots, they said multiboxing was just a side effect that they think is worth it.

If it were worth it, they wouldn't have added the interact with target keybind and click to move to help with multiboxing.
They will more than likely fix it.

On other notes, there's other ways to move around than just following.

you can move your toons with regular movements keys

but the follow is useful to resync your party,

if one of your toons was snared, got stuck somwhere, /follow would make them gather at the main character.

without follow, you'll reach a moment when your toons are so widespread that you can't enter a door without some getting stuck

Movement keys are unreliable. You need to have all toons facing the EXACT DIRECTION to even try it. Even then, a fear bomb will ruin it.

Seem a boomi x3 using mammoth in wsg so thing is possible with right keys.

If they delt with interact with target then boxers would use interact with mouseover... and then we'd all lose our favorite flag return tech

Maximum overtroll.

Hexu's Amplifying Helm - Item - World of Warcraft

Davidian's All-Seeing Eyes - Item - World of Warcraft

While not the particular blind player in the thread you are commenting on, Hexu happens to be a fairly famous Blind wow player. I added the two links to show that Blizzard thought enough of him to name an item after him, and another player whom Hexu would use /follow on.

I just find it interesting that Blizzard would openly support a player like Hexu, and then decimate the command he uses to preform on par with other players... Though I suppose one could argue that Hexu was more pve focused.

Removing /follow is fine, who cares if blind WoW players get hurt by it? This like the government cutting budgets for impaired and/or disabled people. People may complain and suffer for that, by in the end who really cares? I rather see multiboxing gone that ruined bg's. And if you have somebody else for eyes in PVE, who cares about blind pvp which in my book is rediculous. In the end its for the better.

Well, i'll put up my flameshield because reality is so cruel and people will say i'm being inhuman and immoral... Yada yada.

I take it you don't find it interesting that a person could overcome their own physical limitation, and in some cases preform better than those who are not so impaired?

Pushing one's limits and finding new ways to play sounds like fun to me... I'd make a comparison between people aiming to fly without wings, and the blind playing video games, but I imagine any argument would fall on deaf ears.

I will say this though, it will be even more interesting to see how everyone affected (multiboxers included) overcome this issue... And they will too.

Overcome physical limitation? Ima go offtopic for a bit here. I saw this on gator boys.
This guy is Todd Love. He lost his legs and left arm. He tells his story in the episode, not in this clip unfortunately.

Erm, that's a... well very cruel way to look at it. So what you think is, because something ruined the game for YOU, it should be removed so it'll ruin the game for OTHERS... Flawless logic there mate. Not expecting much more from you though after watching you flame all the 24's in the bg pre 5.2.

What an adorable white knight you are. So pure, so innocent. Its really too bad the world and reality are so cruel and harsh...

This is rather off topic. Discuss your cynic world view in the Tavern, alright?
