Enchants in 3.1

Hey, I'm leveling my 39 enh shaman to 49 and going elemental. I haven't played for a few months but I've been keeping up to date with twinking news and whatnot.

My question is with the new changes to enchants with 3.1 what am I going to be looking to get enchantwise, are the enchants in the 40-49 bracket more or less the same as they used to be without leg armors and librams?

Secondly, I have a full gear set for an ele shaman pre-3.1 is green dragonscale the only major change? (Btw, I can't get boa items as my 80s are on different servers)

I have 2000g left for enchants and consumables but lots of it will be going into funding 120-260 Jewelcrafting and 200-375 mining.

sp enchants are the biggies. mp5 and int chants are good also, but imo sp chants are the biggest oe youll be getting. be sure to grab staff (azsharite one)if youre horde for the 81 sp enchant. if you spec up right or get best gear for straight up sp this isnt exactly necessary because 40sp is great and anything with stats on your weapon may balance out to fit your playstyle better

I was thinking of using the mara dagger with 40sp and a wall of the dead with 18 stam. I think the shield and extra stam will be nice with the 3.1 changes. Would the loss of the sp really gimp me that much because the staff is statless without the enchant isn't it? If it is a definite advantage to grab the staff I will for sure, any shamans have any input?

smashing star of healing (or other kind of mace/dagger/axe)

wall of the dead is very nice, also gizlocks shield from mara is nice
 
If you only could get that Ribsplitter. I seen only a single Ribsplitter on the AH for over 1 year, and it was Bear, like the most common combo iirc, got it on my Enh atm.
 
its not like farming brd is that bad, its fun for me to clear that instance in 1/2 an hour to an hour when it took ike 4-6 hours in vanilla days

It is not very hard. I have 6 Ribspliters currently bound to this shaman. There are about 10 Ribspliters on my AH right now.

this is not a lie. there are seriously a lot of Ribspliters in our AH.
 
lol lucky you, I haven't seen one in like 6 months :p
