Dungeon gear list for mw monk.

Hi, I decided to make a list of dungeon gear for Mistweaver Monk. Items will be roughly ranked, but gem/ tertiary stat procs can make some items better. We should aim at
around 20% haste and rest into vers with some crit spilled here and there. If you cant decide what item to use. count every stat as 1 and higher total wins ( most of the time).

Best staff imo, with crit/ haste ones close behind. It really depends if you need more vers or haste. Dont bother farming this, 1H are the way now.

There are great wrists in WoD dungeons, wouldnt recommend farming them.

Cool to see someone compiling this kind of information! Maybe it gets more people on 10s! A couple of questions and pointers for the list though.


Did you compare 2h vs 1h lifesteal procs? Since you claim that 1h is better, but I've heard that 2h procs lifesteal much more often.

Also are you sure valentine necks are better than DF? Since the stats from 3 gem slots is quite a lot.

If your aim was to only list gear obtained from dungeons then this information is invalid but: You can get ilvl 80 rings from Mechagon so they definitely are bis on a lvl 10.

I would also argue that Starlight Gauntlets are better than Deft Handguards since you get 1sp from the gem bonus.

For wrists you can get warforged ones with a socket from WoD dungeons so I would list them. Obv you need to get procs for them to be better, but still.

Hi, thank you for pointing out the possible mistakes. Especially the DF necks, it havent occurred to me that they might be a possibility, same with mechagon ring. I will update the list hopefully next week. About the gloves, i tried it out when i first made the character which was about two expansions ago and back then 1sp equaled 1int and getting more stats was better.

How do you get the cloth to drop when alone? Is there a way to enable legacy loot for solo runs?
