Druid Spell Damage

I recall maybe a year ago first thinking "hmm..." when I got somehow blasted away by a druid while wailing away on them as a hunter(lulz). Now, on my mage I am being hit for 750+ by druids.



Are people using some glass cannon sets here or can druids spell damage really be this insane normally? Any info would be great.

Druid damage is great now, without "glass cannon set". I roll with around 200 sp and 1700 hp (WBFH), still critting 750-1100

Starsurge would be the hardest hitting balance spell. On my druid i like stealth -> starsurging people and then wrathing to lunar eclispe and then playing with moonfire.

Balance druids are fantastic dps, there heals are even good.

a well played balance druid can be an incredible asset to any team for sure; damage is high, heals are solid, mobility is great, utility is unparalleled



i figured they'd gear like any other caster, focus on the new caster blues that have crit - maybe the BoA staff would be better than the mace/furby pouch because of the extra offensive utility? especially since their survivability would be fine with proper kiting/roots/thorns

I grabbed beserk buff in wsg and critted for 1.3k :O and was amazed. Worked as a hole new fc style... instead of fleeing them allies I could kill them suddenly. It feels like a whole new class for me

Yeah, I'm going to roll Balance geared, just not wether to go Feral specc or Balance specc for utility in (evntually) 2vv2's. Think a balance druid, with feral specc can have a real good survivability and deal a good amount of dps in the 2v2 setting.

Woop! Woop! Like what I read. It's like what I ever wanted a 19 twink to be! (I have a 29 druid, so I'm used to the high burst druids have these days, which I think will help me allot).
