Edit: just read the Onenine forums a bit, those guys (especially the GM) are REALLY cocky. some people take the game a bit too far :rolleyes:

Im not even gonna lie, its very true we like to bash now and then. and my GM Notna recently just reached his 100k kills mark and now has a riding turtle to top it off.
 
Some people should keep an eye on tooltips...

funny thing is minor speed to boots is still better as it gives 8% speed increase :p

The turtle mount is an actual mount so it should, but that is only 4% compared to 8% from Minor Speed.

Distribution: Heroes of Azeroth booster boxes contain 24 boosters and cost approx $45 USD (inc. shipping), therefore the average cost of obtaining this particular loot is $908.00.



How much would I expect to pay for one off eBay or similar?

According to http://www.wowtcgloot.com/riding_turtle.htm (most information sourced from there), the lowest Buy It Now price starts around $100 USD upwards to $130 USD, with the average quantity listed hovering around 5 items.



Facts:

The mount moves at normal running / walk speed.

No riding skill is required to use.

Can be affected by +mount speed items.

Using Fresh Holly on the turtle mount turns it temporarily into a level 40 Reindeer mount with 60% speed boost. The holly requires level 40 to use, but you could be level 40 without any riding skill and use the holly and the turtle mount together to at least temporarily get you a "free" level 40 mount.

Useable at any level and therefore available for twinks.
