Does Twinks Require Skill?

Yes of course, anything you do in life someone can do better than you, and why is that? Because they're more skilled than you.

Or they have more tacos than me.

When u r twink and u r fighting non-twink, then it does not require skill, cos u faceroll them with your gear.
But if u r twink and fighting other twinks, then ofc it require skill, cos most twinks have same/simmilar gear, so gear wont make (big) difference.

"Skill" @ mashin' buttons???
Is getting the high score at Packman skill? Mario Bros.? Donky Kong? Mortal Kombat?
Like it or not, it is just a matter of muscle memory with a little bit of experience thrown in.

Why are some people no.1 at their class? Because they're better than the others. Simple.

Being "better" at WoW is not necessarily an indication of "skill". It just indicates they spent a gargantuan amount of time on the game. And that everyone else was not as "good" as them.
Technically, I suppose you could state they were "skillful" in WoW. Since "skill" is a learned aptitude for doing something competently. Thus, the reason for my post above.

Obiously a twink has less possibilities than an endgame character.
However,
Playing a twink isn't about having much buttons to press, it's about perfectioning when to press the buttons you do have.
To play a twink at it;s maximum potential requires a considerable amount of skills.

Not entirely sure, but a twink is definitely far more skilled than the people in a timewalking group. Or a raid PuG.

I think what Derpface McFury warrior was trying to convey, but failing to clearly articulate, is that "twinks require less skill to play, because they have fewer buttons to press."

Which is true, but basically irrelevant. Twinking wasn't invented because there were too many buttons to press; its origins can essentially be traced backwards in time like this:

2. I've discovered a like-minded community in which I can compete in PvP immediately and without the need to grind on a perpetual gear treadmill.

1. "Look what happens if you put fiery enchant on a level 19 rogue LOL"

“The separation of talent and skill is one of the greatest misunderstood concepts for people who are trying to excel, who have dreams, who want to do things. Talent you have naturally. Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft." - Will Smith

I think it's easy to see who is good, bad, mediocre and those that just stands out!

Pizza followed up on my post with a quote from a celebrity that has the majority of his writing done for him. Kek...

You guys need to get a better understanding of "skill". Either that or define it a little clearer. As I stated earlier, "skill is a learned aptitude for doing something competently". I have been telling you all this for years...
And, just as Will Smith stated, talent is occurs naturally and is not acquired.
In conclusion... Skill-acquired. Talent-not acquired.
Examples would be as follows. It takes a certain amount of learned skill to play a video game.
Having a voice that is near perfect is a talent that is not aquired.
Some people are gifted with both skill and talent. Mozart "learned" to play the piano at age one, composed music at age five and wrote full symphonies at age seven. The very definition of talent.
Lest we digress off topic...
Now, with all that said, playing a lowbie character in WoW may require " skill " and experience at button mashin'. A limited number of them(buttons), I might add, the lower the level the twink. Talent - no... Skill - maybe...
After all that is why this website is here, to TWINK INFOrm the "unskilled" to become "skilled", right? I know it has been helping me since 2009.
