Does the SFK instance have increased SF drops?

Hi



Last week i saw Shadowfang at AH and now i saw a post about it beeing in AH on another server. I spooke to the person on my server who added it to AH (for friggin 8K gold) which mobs it dropped from. He claimed that it dropped from a level 20 mob, though the rumors says it only drops from the level 21+ (only some of the bosses).



Can this be possible? That blizzard have added the Shadowfang Keep BOE drops to drop from regular level 20 mobs to? Anyone know for sure?

according to this, it drops from mainly levels 19-21, but apparently Haunted Servitors (16-19) drop them too. all of them are elite.

well, the link says that it's dropped like 40 or so times, so it is probably after the patch (awhile ago..right?). i'm not sure though.

Think it was in patch 2.4 it was nerfed to have a 0.1% drop rate from all mobs lvl 20+..

10,000 mobs for 1 blade, not bad...ive seen people farm more obessed than me over certain items..and I once spent 9 hours farmining an Alchemy pattern from lvl 68 mobs(in BC).



Didn't even use the pattern once I aquired it : /

Yeah, i've read, but if you read the comments people are saying that after 2.3 patch it only drops from level 21+ (according to wowwiki.com) but this dude claims that it dropped from a level 20. If that is a fact, i would consider doing a couple of SFK runs when i got some spare time

Also try to remember, most people can't remember exact details, or has the wrong information, clearly one party is in-correct..but which one



that or it could of been changed recentlly in 3.08..so mabye they are both right..at the given times

All I know is this morning when i logged on I scanned the AH not one not two but three shadowfangs on the AH.. Those are the first I have seen on my server besides the one I got on m warrior..

So is Shadowfang farmable now (as in farming in a time period that wouldn't want you to kill yourself)?

did he give you a date? he could of had the drop pre patch and he could of just held onto it
