Do people still play a hunter in the 19s?

A few people play hunters still, but yeah most of them re rolled after they realised they were shit when MOP hit. Instead of just running around 2 shotting everything you have to actually be able to play the class. Hunters still play a HUGE part in the gulch/arena's though. Druids are just plain OP dude, hunters dont really stand a chance, unless they are a shit druid, only because boomkins can 2 shot you and off heal insanely, and ferals can take you down with just the blink of an eye. I mean dont get me wrong i love playing hunter but there is only so much you can do to a druid before dieing painfully...
 
hunters rock every time iv played my horde one iv had a blast so much control

Im not saying they arent good, hunters are still amazing, its just not as easy to play them since MOP hit and alot of people realised that.
 
Yes its true, druids are the new FotM and Hunters are out, and it just so happens a few certain people who played Hunter decided to roll Druid.

Both classes are viable, druids are just more OP - fortunately for the people who rolled them recently.
 
The ones who played it because they like the class do, the ones who played it because they like being OP don't.
 
hunter are imo still the next best dpsers when you solo queue, you don't die that often, incredibly mobility and really really strong dmg

The damage is still amazing IMO, i do agree with vianco about the mobility and and CC's, but alot of people quit cause they realised they were shit..
 
The damage is still strong, but not like in cata where it was basically explo - arcane - arcane - receive KB. It's much more constant non-bursty damage now, but you will still be able to pressure healers. Also pets got some brilliant new abilities, and disengage talents are great. Still viable, but not OP.

hunters shine when on the better healed and boomkin loaded teams. which you know because you were rolling today in such teams. yes hunters are viable, but they don't carry teams like they did in MOP>

healers and boomkins do. btw, check out the buffs bal-druids and diso-priests are getting in 5.2

too bad erotk doesn't post, because that person is talented, but when your team has 4 rogues, etc. doesn't even matter that you have 3 res druids, you will get globaled

Poppe is Erotk. He's a few posts above you. He is such a great hunter, and he dominates even when his team is awful and the other team is stacked.
 
IMO hunters can beat druids, just slowly wear em down till you have em 2/3 of the way then hit emm with all your focus will knock them down pretty low and then they run.... thats the best part.
