Devastation Evoker Twink is BIS

After making a Warrior, Sham, Hunter and Monk 10/11. I tried making an Evoker yesterday and it's my new favorite. Extremely mobile, can heal, AOE damage 3/4 ways, and single target is pretty good too. You can't get out of the starting zone until 16ish, but that is just fine. Can solo whatever, heal the dungeons, and top damage. Maybe not as great as a 11 Fury warrior , but I got sick of pushing 2 buttons, now I use like 9 spells. 2 of the AOEs 1 shot packs with moderate gear. So you might try it out.

I didn't kill 1 mob in the starting zone I didn't have to, and healed the final quest instead of dpsing. Turn off you XP in SW, go to Tanaris and get the Timewalking gear for badges and marks, and you can solo dungeons at 16 and start getting good gear, or run with others.

Made a video clearing Ramps...

I regret not making a 10/11 Evoker in Remix while I had the chance. I did think about it but just didn't. RIP. Until Legion Remix at least.

Do you have to fill the last bubble of fire breath to get the full damage?

They are absolutely cracked at level 11 if you have one from Remix, best decision I made in this game recently was preparing my Evoker during that event. I even made two just in case, one that I logged into, and one that I didn't, just in case one was different/better, which ended up being the case.

The playstyle was definitely different and there was definitely a small learning curve, but it was well worth it.

There are three stages, that scales inversely with the upfront damage vs the DOT it applies. If you just let it do one tick, the upfront damage is lower but the DOT is much stronger, if you go all three ticks, the upfront damage is much higher, but the DOT is lower.

Edit: I notice after watching your video that my 11 Evoker is doing essentially the same damage as your 16, but at 11. As a few of us have assumed, their damage isn't really designed to scale properly to that low of a level, so at 11 they are doing basically the same damage as you would normally be doing once you are fresh out of the starting zone at 15/16. Hitting an entire pack of mobs for 2500+ each with a fire breath crit at 11 feels crazy.

Everything has such a relatively low cooldown as well, lots of abilities and little downtime between their use.

Threw together a quick showcase video
