Dazzling Longsword for rogue?

Now I've been taught by people in Johnny Berlin and otherwhere on Ravencrest EU (moved to US now myself anyway..) that a Rogue should NOT use this sword in offhand, due to the OP, and would make a rogue v rogue duel to a basicly Nuke v Nuke duel, seing vanish is no longer aviable.

anyways, what do you think?

Something has been lost in translation here.... Otherwhere?

Unclear on what you mean when saying the sword shouldn't be used 'due to the OP'.

It's a good weapon rogue v. rogue.

It's a bit fast for my taste, but I have one with agility on both of my 39 rogues.

Pretty useful, imo.

DLS with steel weapon chain vs a rogue that doesnt have this should mean win just about every time.

If both rogues have it, then RNG can be a factor in duels, that might be what they mean by it not being good for duels I guess?

Has nothing to do with "the op"

Rogue vs Rogue with this sword, the one with wins most of the times,

both rogues have you immobolize vanish, which is used 2-3times in a rogue v rogue duel,

I just got told on Ravencrest not to you is,

Johnny Berlin vs Made you Look: none of the rogues use it was what I got told due to the fact you can use vanish

It was agreed that it is slightly inappropriate for RvR duels and like gentlemen we decided not to make use of them, so as to even out the playing field.

now I dont play rogue anymore, but I think that is a great gentleman rule, you can play a better rogue without(let's say kop?)
