Should I have waited until after the next patch to do the quest for the cudgel of Naralex, or will it be changed/buffed anyway?

Nah you're good. Any scaling gear from after 7.3.5 will get the ilevel buffs if they go through.

do green quest items getting buffed now aswell? i only heard from blues
