Congratulations Rhae on your F2P chopper!

Legend
We have been discussing this issue the last couple of days and we made the call to make the following mounts account-wide:

Traveler's Tundra Mammoth
Grand Expedition Yak
Mechano-Hog
Mekgineer's Chopper
Sandstone Drake
Grand Ice Mammoth
Ice Mammoth
Jeweled Onyx Panther (all color variants)
Cloud Serpents (all color variants)

At this point, the only mounts that are not account-wide are either class specific or rewarded from PVP. We feel like both these types of mounts should still be character specific.

Thanks for your feedback on this issue!

Confirmed by a Blue! LUCKY GIRL!!!

Having all the 2-3 person mounts on my p2p it would be fun having them on my trial. Incoming 20 on a rocket, since that will be the only one they can ride.

Lower level flying and land mounts now scale with level, so at 40 or 80, with the appropriate riding skill, you can travel at full speed. Who knows if the reverse will be true? That said, if only level 20 mounts will be ridable at 20, then the store mounts, holiday mounts (HH mount) and raid BoP mounts like Invincible's Reins - Item - World of Warcraft and TCG mounts should be available at 20 too. It's not clear whether this is truly account wide or restricted to the same server, as has been reported by some in beta.

I still don't get it. If your 'account' is a trial, than all your toons are trials. How can a p2p toon be on the same account as a f2p toon?

Same Battle.net

If you link your starter accounts to your paid account they are considered the same account. You can send BoAs through the mail to linked accounts. You can also be logged in at the same time. Blue posts have already confirmed that account wide means Battle.net account wide, not WoW account wide.

Log into your paid account, once Blizz come back online, click merge accounts, then do it from there. A little difficult to fully explain when I can't log in.

hmmm.
i'm guessing the level restrictions will stay in place as mount speed and level requirements have always been separate. ....just my own guess though.

..although it would def. be cool to mount my little druid on a tundra. :)

Only issue Im concerned about is how will blizz issue the mounts? Might be sent in the mail and trials will not be able to get the mounts from the mail.

Blizz has said that they are creating a new interface for 'account-wide' items such as companions, mounts, BoA's, etc... that doesn't involve the mail.

Mail is far too messy. Mounts and pets will be in a similar tab to what they are now, and once learned, they remained learned, and available to all characters that meet the criteria to use them.

Did they actually mention BoAs though? It would nice if that was the case. No more crutchpatch whining. Anyone with a paid account can have headgear.

Nice, I get the account mounts and pets in my mail but can't get them out so was wondering if that would be the same in mop.
Still want my traveler's mammoth on a 20.
