BiS yes, but Silvermoon Robes are still a good second best

Silvermoon robes of the aurora are decent, but they generally don't hold a candle to Apprentice. As far as relative farming time on a fresh character I'd honestly say Apprentice is faster, but obviously if you already have your char then you can't do that.
