Climbing walls in Horde Base - how to stop it?

In my Battlegroup, Horde has been climbing the walls in their base which results in very long and boring games. Can anyone describe how to combat this? I have reported it but the GMs don't seem to be doing anything, since the same players are still doing it.

damn, you can still do that?



i thought they stopped wall jumping awhile ago...i do know that if you are feared into a wall you can reach certain areas that are normally unaccessable...



usually if someone does that and i have the flag, i bring the flag over to the enemy base and try to kite them down by going to low health or just by going there...otherwise try to get a dance party started with the opposing faction



edit: keep reporting them, the same players may be doing it but if they are reported enough they can get lengthy or perma bans

i know that druid he's actually pretty good he was just bored... and i litterally think you people are over reacting...:)

and personally...idc how long the games are as long as you get to play vs decent twinks. if u cant kill them and u keep getting farmed then thats yer proab. ill tell him to stop doing that tho. idk how he gets up there...

So you're for terrain exploits? I can't see what you're doing on a forum for dedicated twinks, shouldn't you be spamming /2? :S

first blizz fixed that kind of wall climbing in the video



second it is exploiting and the flag is unreturnable unless someone on the opposing team exploits and gets to the spot. most people don't know exploits at all.



third non gy camping is not really reportable.



fourth i like lists
 
Someone just recently taught me how to get up there, the trick is wall walking. The video posted above is extremely old, now it's much more difficult because they added a lot of invisible walls. I would never go up there with the flag cause you cant be hit and it's easily reportable. I don't think there is anything you can do once he is up there unless you figure it out but I can tell you that if you catch anyone running on the walls any stuns will make them fall off.

P.S. I wont make a video or explain how to get up there in detail because I want as few people as possible to exploit.
 
really? stuns make them fall?



i have been on the edge of a platform (at least 1/2 my toon is over the edge) and been stunned and fallen. maybe that was the case /shrug
 
yup, while I was doing it (I didnt have the flag of course) a warrior kept charging me , I would stay up on the wall until the stun wore off then I would fall. I might be remembering wrong but I think I could stay up on the wall while slowed.
 
same thing when i'm at the edge of a cliff.



i think that you were in a similar position, near an edge, so when he stunned you, you fell.



if a person is exploiting in an area with more solid ground, i think that CC would not bother them. i wouldn't know for sure though...last time i exploited was like 2 years ago.



i'd like to know if you can move around in your exploited spot or not...is it like really tight or can you move a few steps here and there? and can a warrior charge you from any spot of the exploit?

Ii's easily doable if you know how to wallwalk (and it's EASY!). I my self don't have a problem with this. Why? Well because I do wallwalk my self :p

But sure it's unfair and I my self never wallwalk inside WSG (at least if i have the flag i wont :p). Just report him.
