So I decided to boot up ye olde Warmane on Icecrown(7x) to mess around a little bit. I've had the classic itch but haven't been able to commit to paying for a sub and/or wanting to re-level and grind out a main or characters in retail classic... again...
Here we are, started an enhance shaman last week and got him to 60 just for shits and giggles and joined a guild <ape> They raid around
18:00 - 21:00 server time(UTC) which doesn't really work for me until the weekends but it's nice that it puts an external limit on my time played.
I believe the server is hosted in France(?) I get a pretty steady 100 MS latency which is perfectly acceptable for casual pvp and pve
Friday I got done with work early and hopped into an AQ40 and we plowed through it pretty easily, wiped a couple times due to healers/tanks DCing but other than that it was a breeze and I had never done AQ40 before in this format.
I was surprised at the amount of activity but it made for a fun hour or 2(?)
I ended up getting a few pieces of loot and got a couple of the pieces for the T2.5 armor sets which I still need the scarabs, idols, etc for and to turn in.
While I was writing this I saw some of them were in WSG so I queued up, was a bit one sided but I'm a bit of a glass cannon currently so I had fun lol
Ran enough to get some honor for a HWL Axe
Mercenary mode is a thing as well so I got thrown onto alliance a few times lol

I believe the HWL weapons are some of the best and are available for honor so I might pick up one of those although I'm going to miss the stamina on the outland blue.
