Can't disenchant Dragonflight drops

Have you tried using your garrison to DE the item(s)? That's worked for me in the past, I've experienced this issue. Also update all ur addons and remove/disable any out of date ones. Just to cross it off your list. Might be an addon bugging out the UI...

You can currently only disenchant crafted Dragonflight items, and Dragonflight items if >= 30-58 (seems dependent on the item when it drops minus certain items auto-require level 70 to actually use). It been this way for awhile, the prepatch adds the previous expansion to the Starter Account but the professions aren't fully tuned until a later patch. Yet one can make most of the crafted items but many have a character level requirement to wear/use/learn etc.
The Garrison Enchanting building doesn't work on many of the higher level items until the profession is tuned to <= the previous expansion level aka Dragonflight professions were level 58 to learn (besides skinning which was auto-unlocked even for level <=58).
But there is one caveat, the Dragonflight ring enchant seems to be working for level <= 20 but unlike the BFA accords, only provides a +2 effect on a tertiary (the BFA now provides a +4 after a few patches into Dragonflight).

blizzard did the same thing in SL, was supposedly fixed into SL. when i did the SL campaign none of the quest rewards or even greens that dropped could be DE'd. i asked about this and was told i had to be like level 57+, yet looking at the forums, players above that level could not DE either
i do not know if blizzard did the same thing in DF
in TWW, i do see in trade enchanters wanting to buy TWW greens and they have to be level 504+, not sure if this is relayed or only 504+ yield the best mats?
it overall makes no sense that enchanters are not able to use anything from when they start leveling in a new expac. yet no restrictions om other professions.
