Can you keep more than 1 same boe unique item in inventory?

Game don't allow me. Should i send them to different chars to keep them?

You can have them in your mail. I have an https://classic.wowhead.com/item=13095/assault-band held hostage in my mailbox because I have one equipped.

I'd mail them to the character that already has it. They can just click return after 30 days.

Not sure if this is how it works in classic or not but you dont have to click return afaik in today's wow, the items will just boomerang between the recipient and the sender every 30 days.

I only know this because you can't access mail without gametime so there have been times where other vets and I have boomeranged mail for months at a time.
