CALLING NA/EU Video Feature Opportunity

Resto

Legend
Sup lads, as some of you know, I'm editing another montage. Been brainstorming some editing ideas. One came through my head, so I'd like to involve the entire community, all brackets and everything :) So, what do you have to do to be featured? Simple actually ..

I just need you guys to press CTRL + ALT + Z
What this does for those who don't know is hides your UI. So, what I'd like for all of you to do after is find a nice scenery in your opinion, wouldn't care where tbh, I'll let you guys have a deciding factor in this and zoom a bit in on your twink walking at an angle.
If you need an example, I'd gladly provide a short clip for you of all the needed angles below :)

The goal is to have everyone do the same angle, but if there's multiple submissions, any angle will work considering I'll be able to have fun with the clips. All I need is a short 10 second clip of this on your twink and you're in!

Here's an overview on how I add my cinematics into my edits to give you guys more of a visual of what to expect.
Alone Montage

Looking forward to all the submissions, the more the merrier. There is no limits on how many I'm taking <3

P.S. Send your clips to my DMs plox with the title, "Clip Submission".

I already dig how you're thinking; sounds like something with interesting potential!

I thought that was simply [Alt]+Z (or [Option]+Z for any iGamerz)... does adding the [Ctrl] do something special?

...and if you don't want names (or nameplates) in the submissions, then you should probably remind folks that those can be hidden via the Interface --> Names menu.

Are there any quality/performance targets that submitters should be aiming for?

For example:

"Anything is better than nothing, but ideally you should crank-up your
graphics settings as much as you can... just make sure neither your game
nor your recording drops below 30fps at 720p. If you can only achieve
that on the 'minimum' settings, then perhaps this is not worth your trouble."

I get that you're probably trying to "keep things simple" to maximize potential participation... but if you're hoping for any sort of "uniformity" from the submitters, you might want to be a bit more specific. ;)

For example:

"Zoom-in until your character fills about 1/2 the height of the
screen, and capture three frontal angles with a chest-level
camera (straight-on, 30°-left, and 30°-right)... plus a fourth
shot from behind with the standard 'isometric' downward-angle."

If you wanted to get really "serious" (and if there are enough interested players), I bet you could probably make a couple macros that would give submitters identical camera positions... thereby allowing you to make rapidly-shifting montages of "stabilized" characters! :D

As much as I admire your idea, I don't know if I'll be back on my "home rig" in time to contribute... but I wish you good luck on your project, and hope you get lots of "submissions"!

(...and for anyone who does contribute: don't stop at just one! Different characters, different transmogs, different scenery, go crazy!)

Might just be Alt + Z, may have been mistaken there.

Quality should just be a given.

That clip showed exactly what was needed. Hence why I created it to display specifics. Wasn't trying to get mathematical with it :)

I never knew you could macro you ingame camera like that, but don't think it's needed. It's just a basic log on and shoot your angle, then submit :) Already have a few who've sent on discord.

I won't be finished with the edit for a week or so, you should be fine. These clips aren't a necessity to advance forward into the edit. They're more of an ending to the first scene.
