Bug? Crackling Jade Lightning of MWMonk

It seems that a mw monk using Crackling Jade Lightning cannot interrupt someone capturing the flag. I tried this in both EoTS and AB. But this spell should cause some damage immediately when hit. Is it a bug?

I think it’s a bug. Same happens for me, it won’t interrupt.

yesterday, my aff lock in a AB BG, casting both agony and corruption did not stop a flag flip twice. will have to test again

Afaik dot damage has never broken flag caps. Sw: p works for priest bc of instant dmg at start, but dot ticks shouldn't break cap.

Unless something has changed that's how it's worked for a while now. Not sure abt crackling jade lightning and how that's worked in the past, never rlly played munk
