Do any of you know what the best way to farm gear like the shadowfang sword and gloomshroud stuff is can I do it on a 120 with scaling or do I need to be on a 15-19.

You can have both but there needs to be a 19 there if you want the items to be lvl 19.

it is no use even if there is a 19 there .. if the loot drops on the 120, it will scale to the 120, trading it with the 19 will not scale it down to 19, same for the 19, if the item is looted by the 19, it stays 19 even after trading with the 120

Yep. But if you have both half the drops will be for the 19.

I mean... you still have 50% of the loot to yourself instead of 20% from random dungs.
