how much less crit/vers would the boa toon( lets say a NE hunter) have than the 20 vet? as glass canon as possible using available enchants and leg/shoulder from proffs like leatherworking from a higher level toon.

You can actually stack a solid amount of crit and/or haste using boas of you can stomach the main stat loss.
If you're just looking to "level through" over and over again, you'll be fine.

If you're going to invest in a single character, then boas will be sufficient to get you to the point that you're picking up BG crate gear. But you're (obviously) going to want to use the BG crate gear once you have it
