Blackened defias price? + maybe makin a clothie

So I saw each of the defias pieces on AH for 1400g each... And when I said something in trade I got a "Really? thats cheap, they were up for 10k earlier." so I gotta ask, is this for real?



Plus, I have a personal guild that I'd like to make a twink to be the gleader of, if for nothing more than looking cool. Clothie because I like the look of the BoA helm, and working nights on weekends I'll never get the LFH. So far I'm thinking goblin priest. But kinda waiting for some hunter nerfs/ limiting the amount of one class per bg... (I can dream)

They are grandfathered and BiS is a very few situations, so yes it is for real.

Really grandfathered? I thought I saw it as a very low drop chance from deadmines still.

Some items are GF'd some are, as you say very low drop chance. Either way, the fact that they are BiS in a few rare situations and the devaluation of gold in cata means that high prices are pretty normal.

Okay checked WoW head and chest are only grandfather'd rest have low low drop chance.



Edit: looked at comments turns out maybe the belt is still obtainable.

Well i just sold the belt and boots for 4k on my server so people are willing to pay for these =)

I guess I must be in the minority or everyone else has greedy ass folks on their servers - they still top out about 50g buyout for the various pieces on my server. Just snagged another pair of pants a few days ago for 20. God...without looking to count I feel pretty safe to say I have banked 20 or so defias items just since January.

There is no conformation that the boots still drop, wowhead and other sources say they drop off of the Defias Strip Miners which have been removed from instance. I want these to complete the set, but i have only seen 1 pair on AH many weeks ago. The belt doesn't drop either, only the leggings and gloves are still obtainable in game.
