BiS Level One Rogue?

As the title says, I'm wanting to create a new level 1 rogue. Im looking for a list of whats BiS with enchants, etc. I have access to BoA and alot of gold, but im looking for a list of available gear and enchants, alot has changed since 4.0.6 so please dont link me back to a old forum.



Also i'm in need of a name so fire away if you have anything you think would sound nice. Thanks in advance guys :3
 
I dont think to much has changed for us really since 4.0.6, chants as always are based on the task at hand. Gear wise boa (shoulder,chest,helm,weapons) is BiS still...only change i can think of really think of is the addition of new green coloured gloves (herb ones). Other than that the AGM trinks and everything else is just for pimping =P

First of all is this PvE or PvP? For PvP I usually go with...

Head: Stained Shadowcraft Cap

Neck: Voice Amplification Modulator

Shoulders: Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders (Or w/e)

Cloak: Any BoA cloak. Enchant : Stealth

Chest: Stained Shadowcraft Tunic. Enchant : Greater Stats

Bracers: Vendor Bracers. Enchant : Superior Stamina

Gloves: Herbalist's Gloves. Enchant : Superior Agility

Belt: Squealer's Belt (Grandfathered) other wise, vendor belt.

Legs: Tuxedo / Haliscan Pants. Enchant : Rugged Armor Kit

Boots: Vendor boots. Enchant : Minor Speed, Greater Stamina, Minor Accuracy, and 7 Agility (Keep different pairs of boots with different enchants)

Ring: Anything

Ring: Anything

Trinket: AGM

Trinket: AGM (If your a human) otherwise Inherited Insignia of the Horde / Alliance, but if it's on CD use another AGM

Ranged: Charmed Ancient Bone Bow (No Scope)

Weapon MH: Battleworn Thrash Blade. Enchant : Agility.

Weapon OH: Sharpened Scarlet Kris. Enchant : Agility

umm i think this has been mentioned before, but on my lvl1 rogue for pvp i use the druid pvp shouders, sounds funny, but they have resilience and its pro.
 
Yeah I usually go with the agil over the 1 resil. If you can't hit me the resil wont matter and I get crit and AP from it

yeah so i was looking BIS boots when i came here so i looked at the neutral AH and to my surprise squealer's belt was there haha 7500g but atleast i got BIS now lol
 
wouldnt a vendored thrown wep be better? and wouldnt 2x agm's be better? unless your going to be dueling atleast lvl 10+ because their arent really any stuns below lvl 10

im not sure though ive never really tried lvl 1 twinks
 
why would a vendored thrown weapon be better?



With Crude Throwing Axe you'd get 33 throws in a min and at 2 dmg you get 67 dmg (not taking into account crits/misses)

With Charmed Ancient Bone Bow you'd get only 21 shots / min, but you'd do 471 dmg (again no crits/misses)



With a rogue, you'll only get 1 or 2 shots in any given fight (possibly more if you're pvp a caster) so those shots you want to hit big. WIth the BoA dmg range you'll far eclipse vendor.
 
Not sure you read past the first line of my reply...in that 1 sec you just lost 3.3 dmg if you're using that goblin throwing or 4.8 dmg using the crude axe....not including any racial bonuses you may lose

hmm..interesting. i always use my dynamite or discombobulator ray for that, but i can see that situational aspect
