BfA: Warmode - Revival of twinking?

Basically if you don’t want to read the article, there is no such thing as pvp servers anymore (some exceptions)
You go to your faction capital SW/Org and toggle “war mode” which migrated you to a pvp server full of people who have war mode toggled.

this could be good for twinks if they made it to where you can only attack those in your bracket

example 19 only being able to attack 10-19

If warmode isn't template-based, that'd be great. However, most people are casual af. They aren't going to have warmode turned on, because they want "the easy way" of doing things. It's just how it is. The "charm" of PvP servers was that you never knew what was going to hit you as you wandered off in the world. It was more of an MMO-experience where unexpected events can happen, or seek out to kill players on your own as well.

Feel this would hardly change anything positively, except now you have to toggle it ON/OFF in a city which is hell of alot of trouble to do so for people who do not regularly pvp.

I’m just worried about the implications to places like hellfire and nagrand that I fly through daily to do some world pvp. Since now any 110 with warmode can just run through and kill every low level. Especially since they said warmode shards you with only others with warmode on

You get extra rewards for having warmode turned on while questing, so i think it will increase wpvp.

BfA twinking will be decided by how stat stacking works in bgs. Ilvl template stays but i read you will be able to favor a stat again.

Yeah I agree on all fronts. If they end up squishing to much with no chance of us personalizing instances pvp stats then I don’t see much lasting long in bfa

IL squish that’s happening might make you want to be with people outside your bracket. Think about it. What if BIS item level for 19s is like 20 IL and the average item level of a random 40 is 20IL. Would make for good footage on streaming or YouTube picking on people twice your level again

This does seem to reflect bfa, oddly enough, making my dungeon 1 2 sets bis On my 60 xD. Until they fuck it all up of course
